Job description
Job Purpose
Bolster’s Senior Creative - Content is responsible for leading the development of culturally salient creative ideas and content systems across Bolster’s client portfolio. This is not a traditional content or creative role, it sits at the intersection of creative, social, strategy and culture.
This role is for someone who understands culture, subculture and trends, mobilising fandom and how brands can be injected into culture without disrupting it. You will lead ideation, guide execution, and mentor a team of creatives and content specialists to produce work that cuts through and resonates in culture.
You will work closely with Strategy, PR, Media and Client teams. Shaping ideas and Bolster’s creative product from the start. Guiding how our ideas come to life, and pushing the work (and the team) to be sharper, braver and more culturally tuned in.
OK, I’m sold – but what even is Bolster?
We are integrated communications specialists with an eye on culture.
Headquartered from Melbourne Australia, we’re a team of 50+ passionate individuals spread across four specialist teams. Our foundational clients include festivals and events such as St Jerome’s Laneway Festival, and more recently RISING Festival, ALWAYS LIVE and Sydney Festival.
Bolster Group has devised integrated campaigns for some of the world’s biggest brands including Nike, EA Games, Warner Music, and more. We’re the agency you bring in when you want to play meaningfully in music and broader culture.
At Bolster, we do loads of stuff, but 3 things really well:
Consulting: We guide brands and experience makers through a challenging landscape with pointed insights and cultural understanding. Our consulting services extend across culture marketing, creative and content, media, social and community building.
Branded entertainment: We devise fan-led creative solutions and storytelling that helps brands cut through.
Media: We amplify brands within impactful media, ensuring our clients are in front of the right people at the right time.
Our offering extends even further when you consider our sister agencies:
Aeroplane (experiential and commercial rights);
Common State (PR); and
Going North (First Nations cultural engagement).
Ultimately, Bolster Group is famous for connecting brands to their fans.
